In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Genesis 1:1

A Christian Church

The basis

We are absolutely and undeniably a Christian Church. We believe in the authority of the Bible and the Christian Creeds. We are trinitarian; we believe in Father, Son and Holy Spirit one God in three persons. We believe that Jesus is the son of God, the second person of the trinity. We are a modern Christian Church with traditional Christian beliefs. (See the Apostle's Creed below if you are still confused. This is what we believe.)

We also believe that the Church is for everybody. You do not have to be perfect (we aren't). You do not have to know everything about God or the Bible. You do not have to be a "religious" person.

We will encourage you to live a Christian life and to have Christian values but we will not impose them on you or look down on you if you think differently.

We are normal people who call ourselves Christians. We believe that following Jesus gives us a better life on earth and the promise of a new life when the earthly one expires.

All we ask is that those who join us are people seeking a better way in Jesus Christ.

The Apostle's Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontious Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Notes:
The "holy catholic church" means the Church as a united body of believers and does not refer to the Roman Catholic Church. We do believe that the Roman Catholic Church is a part of holy catholic church.
