Suggested order of worship

A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

Suggested Order of Worship

This is just meant as a simple guide and not a set in stone liturgy. If you want to do something else then please do.

Stage 1. Approaching God and getting ready

Tidy the room where you will worship
Cover the television and put away the remote control
Listen to some Christian Music
Pray for help in the worship

Stage 2. Worship

Sing songs
Listen to music - Get your children dancing and leaping about, play some instruments etc
Prayer

Stage 3. The Word

Bible Reading - Suggestions shown below
Thinking about the story together (this should be prepared beforehand)

Stage 4. Response

Praying
Singing
Arts and Crafts (arty stuff for those who want to do this - children love it)
Go for a walk together

Not being tied into a Churches timetable or ways of worship can really release you to be creative. Worshipping together as a Church is a good thing but sometimes life isn't that easy.
